Clayton James Spencer

CLINTON — Clayton James “Jim” Spencer died Saturday, March 3, 2012. He was 46.

Mr. Spencer received a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Mississippi State University. He worked for the Federal Aviation Administration and was a former employee of the Corps of Engineers in Vicksburg. He was a member of First United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Caldwell Spencer; one son, Patrick Spencer; two daughters, Carra Spencer and Sylvia Conway; his father and stepmother, Bob and Sally Spencer of Florida; his mother and stepfather, Marilyn and Gary Burns of Minnesota; two sisters, Ginger Peterson of Illinois and Kimberly Sanchez of Colorado; and nephews, a niece and other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church in Clinton. Visitation will be at the church Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the service.

Lakewood Funeral Home of Clinton has charge of arrangements.
