Whom to choose?

If the Republican presidential candidates claim so much would be done if they became president, why have they not accomplished much while in the office they now hold or once held?
Any sensible person who would vote for them, or the sitting president, should if their background and record show that they are for the people.
I have voted for both parties, but mostly Democrat. There are differing issues among the two — one takes away while the other hands out too much. Politicians always promise what they will do, but then usually do the opposite.
So once we elect a president who stands for the ordinary people, then we can say what proud Americans we are.
