RIDGELAND — Sue Weissinger, 61, a former Vicksburg resident, died Tuesday, April 3, 2012, at Baptist Hospital. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 5, 2012, at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church Cemetery in Bovina. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Sebrell Funeral Home in Ridgeland and will continue at 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Alban’s Church in Bovina.

Sue was born on Feb. 11, 1951, the daughter of the late Jack and Sarah Gipson. Reared in Decatur, she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Belhaven College and her master’s degree from Mississippi College. Sue worked as a drug and alcohol counselor for many years in Jackson. She enjoyed riding horses and hunting.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas Weissinger of Ridgeland; son, Mike Mouton of Florence; son, Matt Weissinger of Brandon; and granddaughter, Sarah Mouton of Pineville.
