David F. Stinson

JONESBORO, La. — Funeral services for David F. Stinson, a state bank examiner, were at 11 today, April 11, 2012, at Edmonds Funeral Home Chapel in Jonesboro, officiated by the Rev. Glen Nash. Interment followed at the Jonesboro Cemetery.

Mr. Stinson was born on Dec. 1, 1928, and passed away on April 9, 2012. He was 83.

Mr. Stinson was a member of Grace Community Church in Jonesboro.

Survivors include his wife, Sue Ann Lawrence Stinson of Jonesboro; two daughters, Judy Ann Young and husband, Chris of Jonesboro and Susan Kay Chung and husband, David of Federal Way, Wash.; two sons, David Lawrence Stinson and wife, Jenny of Vicksburg and Reed Fletcher Stinson of Jonesboro. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, Melanie Worthington and husband, Eddie, Lindsay Owens and husband, Jody, Leslie Shows and husband, Rodney, Heather Young, Ryan Stinson and wife, Amanda, Stacey Clark and husband John, Branda Stinson, Jamie Caskey, Erin Guin and husband, Ronnie, Carrie Stinson, Tomas Stinson, Matt Lamkin and Grace Chung; and 17 great-grandchildren, J.J. and Anna Worthington, Jesse and Seth Owens, Gavin and Collin Shows, Austin Stinson, Saylor Ramos, Baylee and Bella Caskey, Sebastian, Eliza and Emma Guin, Jared and Anna-Claire Stinson and Addyson and Matthew Clark.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mildred and Paul Stinson; and one sister, Patsy Elizabeth Stinson Stewart.

Pallbearers were Roger Young, Leonard Hutchinson, Marty Folden, Kenneth Folden, Jody Owens, Darryl Caskey, Jerry Stewart and Ryan Stinson.

Honorary pallbearers were Bill Albritton, Bill Barr, Barry Cannon, Sam Ledbetter, Kim Jones, Rodney Shows and Jerry Ginn.
