David Lee Ogle died Monday, March 19, 2012, at his home. He was 62.

Mr. Ogle graduated from Fulton High School in Knoxville, Tenn. A disabled Vietnam veteran, he had served with the First Air Cavalry. He retired from Waterways Experiment Station and attended Bowmar Baptist Church.

He was a member of the Mississippi Peacemakers and Mississippi State Guard.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William A. and Elizabeth Ogle; a brother, Robert L. Ogle; and a sister, Ruth Marie Ogle.

He is survived by two brothers, the Rev. Michael Ogle of Cleveland, Tenn., and Harry Ogle of Vicksburg; and two sisters, Nancy Patterson of Canton, Ga., and Susan Patton of Austell, Ga.

A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Lighthouse Assembly of God Church, 1790 Sherman Ave.
