Services for William Earl “Bill” Richardson will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Dillon Chisley Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation is today from 1 until 6 at the funeral home.

Mr. Richardson died Sunday, April 8, 2012, at River Region Medical Center. He was 82.

He had been a medical specialist with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He also had been employed by Sears and was of the Holiness faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Levirgil and Mary Moore Richardson; a brother, Romeo Richardson; and two sisters, Vondella R. Pilot and Eula Richardson Harris.

Survivors include a daughter, Niya Williams of Columbus, Ga.; one brother, Freddie Richardson of Palm Dell, Calif.; three sisters, Virgie Richardson Ellis of Vicksburg, Doris Richardson of Los Angeles and Ora Richardson Wright of Compton, Calif.; a granddaughter; numerous nieces and nephews; and family and friends including the Low family of Vicksburg and the Richardson, Gilmore and Moore families of Edwards.
