NIAGARA FALLS — Rachel Sims Drake died Friday, Dec. 23, 2011, at ElderWood Health Care Facility in Niagara Falls. She was 95.

Born in Vicksburg, she was the daughter of the late Ellic and Lizzy Leach Sims. She moved to Niagara Falls in 1985.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivanburg Drake in 1967; a son, Issac Drake; a daughter, Betty Lee Drake; a stepdaughter, Thelma Drake; and a grandchild, Kalif Mallory.

She is survived by three children, Virginia “Pee Wee” Sims, Lee Andrew Drake and Eula Drake; one stepson, Leon Drake; and grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives.

Services were under the direction of Williamson Funeral Home of Niagara Falls.
