The Warren County- Vicksburg Public Library, 700 Veto St., will have a book-signing and reception for author Jamey Carr Phillips Thursday from 5 to 6:30 p.m. She will sign and discuss her first book, “Animal Instincts: The Hunt.”

Phillips is a Lorman native who now lives in Vicksburg. Copies will be available for sale at the reception. For information call 601-636-6411.
