The State Health Insurance Assistance Program provides free Medicare counseling to senior citizens in Copiah, Hinds, Madison, Simpson, Rankin, Warren and Yazoo counties.

SHIP counselors can help Medicare recipients make benefit choices and provide information on programs that can lower prescription and medical costs.
