Services for Thelma J. Irving will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Walter Weathersby Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh M.B. Church Cemetery in Edwards. Visitation will be from 1 until 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Irving died Sunday, April 29, 2012, at her residence in Vicksburg. She was 67.

She was born Nov. 23, 1944, to Ardelia Wilson Davis and Louis Davis Sr. She was a member of Morning Star M.B. Church of Edwards before moving to Los Angeles, where she was a member of Greater Bethany Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James E. Davis.

Survivors include her longtime companion, James Caston of Vicksburg; one son, Carl Davis of Victorville, Calif.; two sisters, Leretha A. Davis of Los Angeles and Willie Mae McCroy of Vicksburg; three brothers, Louis Davis and Leon Davis, both of Edwards, and Eddie Davis of Port Gibson; one grandson; and nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including Lula and Verdisel Stamps and Irene Caston, all of Edwards, and Mary Hill of Los Angeles.
