ROLLING FORK — Ava Dale died Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Rolling Fork. She was 84.

Mrs. Dale was an Arkansas native and had lived in Rolling Fork since 1963. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Rolling Fork and worked for a number of years at the Rolling Fork Flower Shop.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ross Dale; a daughter, Kaye French; a grandson, William Ross Dale; and a great-granddaughter, Kamylle Dale.

She is survived by three sons, Robert Dale of Canton, Roger Dale of Rolling Fork and Bill Dale of Ocala, Fla.; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Rolling Fork with the Rev. Millard Caulder officiating. Burial will follow at Mound Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight at Glenwood Funeral Home in Rolling Fork.

Pallbearers will be Thad Virden, Larry Holder, Tim Hudson, Brandon Billings, Dave Schaefer and Reese Kyzar.
