Sybil Joyce Alford and Robert Harold Magee, both of Natchez, will be married in a private ceremony May 18, 2012, in Natchez. A reception will begin at 2 p.m. May 19 at River View Park, 100 River View Pkwy. in Vidalia, La. All relatives and friends are invited to attend the reception.

Miss Alford is the daughter of the late Dewey Earl “Red” Alford and the late Frances “Aileen” Alford of Natchez.

Mr. Magee is the son of William Harold and Margaret JoAnn Magee of Natchez.

The bride-elect is a 1978 graduate of South Natchez High School. She is employed with the U.S. Postal Service.

The prospective groom is a 1977 graduate of Adams County Christian School.

He attended Inver Grove Heights Community College in St. Paul, Minn., and is employed with Live Oak Construction.
