Frances “Lucy” Causey Carley died Friday, May 18, 2012, at River Region Medical Center. She was 75.

Mrs. Carley was born in Tuscaloosa, Ala., and had lived in Vicksburg for the past 45 years. She retired in 1991 as office manager from Hilldale Water District.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bill Carley; her second husband, C.T. Causey; and a son, Rick Carley.

Survivors include two sons, Greg Carley (Jo Anne) and Mike Carley (Sheila), all of Vicksburg; stepsons, Marty Causey (Taffie) of Clinton, Monty Causey (Lou Ann) of Vicksburg and Michael Causey of California; two brothers, Harold Dickey of Vista, Calif., and Bill Dickey of Chula Vista, Calif.; a sister, Lana Macey of Osceola, Iowa; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and her two dogs, Daisey and Max.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Andrew officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 5 until 7 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Darrell Hern, Tim Perry, Ralph Allison, Robert Knight, Marty Tompkins and Jeff Breland.

Honorary pallbearer will be B.J. Shows.
