PORT GIBSON — Linda Walls died Sunday, June 3, 2012, at St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital. She was 53.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lessie Parris Walls.

Survivors include a son, Kevin Walls of Port Gibson; a daughter, Aretha Walls of Port Gibson; her father, the Rev. Eddie Walls Jr. of Port Gibson; a brother, Eddie Walls III of Vicksburg; a sister, Janice Thomas of Lorman; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends, including Jimmie Lee Smith of Pattison and Melvin Williams of Port Gibson.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Second Baptist Church with the Rev. Leon Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at Mercy Seat M.B. Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 6 p.m. Friday at Thompson Funeral Home in Port Gibson and Saturday at the church from noon until the service.
