ROXIE— Karen Cecile Byrd died Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at Promise Hospital. She was 57.

She was a physical therapist assistant and a member of Springhill M.B. Church.

Mrs. Byrd was preceded in death by her grandmother, Ela T. Hardins.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth C. Byrd Sr.; her father, Kenny Webster Sr.; mother, Isabelle Webster; three daughters, Keena Byrd of Vicksburg, Leanne Brown of Roxie, and Erica White of Cincinnati, Ohio; three brothers, Kenny C. Webster Jr., Michael H. Webster, and David A. Webster, all of Roxie; one sister, Elizabeth M. Dixon of Brandon; and a host of grandchildren, relatives and friends.

Services were Friday at Rollins Funeral Home with the Rev. Luther Bonds officiating. Burial was at Zion Cemetery.
