Lloyd Langford Causey

Lloyd Langford Causey, 79, of Vicksburg died Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at River Region Medical Center.

Born in Gloster, he had made his home in Vicksburg since 1966. He was an avid amateur radio operator for over 50 years. He retired from Mississippi Power & Light after 40 years of service.

Survivors include his sons, L. Ashley Causey of Vicksburg and Davis A. Causey of Mandeville, La.; a daughter, Reba M. Causey of Vicksburg; and grandchildren, Eric Ray Allen, Carson D. Causey, Cayley D. Causey and Davis Causey of Mandeville.

He was preceded in death by his father, Laurie Davis Causey; his mother, Wilma Lusk Causey; a sister, Laurie Jean Kinnebrew; and a brother, Charles Cecil Causey.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 9, 2012, at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home with the Rev. Kent Campbell officiating. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 tonight at Fisher Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Carson Causey, Eric Allen, Alex Wright, Bob Causey, Scott Causey and Bill Reynolds.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Vicksburg and Jackson Amateur Radio clubs.
