Charles and Cecille Hintson will be honored by their children with a 50th wedding anniversary celebration from 2 until 4 today at Roca Restaurant.

The Hintsons were married June 10, 1962, at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church in Phoenix, Miss. Their children are Mac and Rachelle Hintson Ferris and J.O. and Pam Hintson Smith. They also have two granddaughters, Eden and Sarah Kate Smith.

Charles retired from Waterways Experiment Station in 1994 as foreman of the Electric Shop with 37 years of service. Cecille taught fourth grade at Redwood Elementary for 33 years and retired in 1995. They now enjoy retirement in Redwood surrounded by friends and family.

All relatives and friends are invited to attend today’s celebration. The couple requests no gifts.
