Man charged for receiving stolen lawn gear

Vicksburg police officer Ronnie Ingram investigates the scene of a three-vehicle wreck on Clay Street Wednesday that involved seven adults and one 10-month-old. Sgt. Larry Burns said a Jeep Cherokee was hit from behind by a Chevrolet, which was hit by a Mercury. The Jeep’s driver was Frank Gardner Jr., 5484 Fisher Ferry Road, 54; His passenger was Jordan Dorbeck, 18, 1625 Vicklan St. The Chevrolet driver, Devan Lamorris Benard, 25, 101 Abraham Drive, and passengers Quentin Taylor, 22, 1211 Grammar St., and Precious Johnson, 23, 1521 Ethel St. were taken to River Region Medical Center where they were treated and released. Another passenger was not injured. The driver of the Mercury, Quinchester Franklin, 23, 1226 Grange Hall Road, was driving with one occupant, Chadana Gray, 21, 918 National St. Neither sustained injuries and were allowed to leave the scene.
