Beverly Calhoun Moses

BRANDON — Beverly Calhoun Moses died Friday, June 22, 2012, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. She was 61.

Born and raised in Vicksburg, Mrs. Moses attended Warren Central High School and the University of Southern Mississippi. She and her husband of 34 years, Ronnie Moses of Vicksburg, lived in Brandon with their daughter. Mrs. Moses was a homemaker.

She will forever be remembered for her beautiful smile and caring nature, as well as her unwavering devotion to her husband, daughter and two grandchildren. She was a devout Christian with an upbeat attitude, no matter the situation. Mrs. Moses was preceded in death by her parents, Stella Mae Hood Calhoun and Marshall Eugene Calhoun; and one brother, Richard Calhoun.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ronnie Moses of Brandon; a daughter, Natalie Moses Germany of Brandon; a sister, Cindy King of Vicksburg; a brother, Stephen Calhoun of Clinton; two grandchildren, Billy and Blayne Germany of Brandon; and a number of other relatives, including her mother-in-law, Margaret Moses of Vicksburg.

Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim O’Leary officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday from noon until the hour of the service.
