I just finished reading the article on the Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary. It is so uplifting when one reads of those so dedicated to helping others in need.

I am reminded of Matthew 6:19-20 which tells to log up our treasures in heaven where they will be safe.

I believe the treasures are the things we do here on Earth for those less fortunate than ourselves. Jesus said we are to love others even as we love ourselves, even as He has loved us.

I believe it is one of the only things He said we could do for Him. When He said that whatsoever we do for the lest of those we have done for Him also. To me, that made it personal.

Surely, Ms. Sue Tolbert is the Good Samaritan that is mentioned in Luke 10. God has great love for those who give sacrificially of both time and wealth, and He rewards accordingly.

I feel certain Sue Tolbert is laying her treasures up in heaven and great are they. We should all remember her and all the other women with her in our daily prayers. Also, do a little to help in their great work.
