Miss Cunningham to marry Mr. McMillin

The engagement of Sarah Alice Cunningham of Flowood to Michael Edward McMillin of Vicksburg is announced today. Vows will be exchanged at 2 p.m. July 21, 2012, at the Cathedral of St. Peter the Apostle in Jackson. A reception will follow at the Old Capitol Inn.
Miss Cunningham is the daughter of Edna Bourgeois Cunningham and the late I.E. Cunningham Jr., both of Pearl. She is the granddaughter of the late I.E. and Avis Cunningham of Pearl and the late Sydney L. Bourgeois and the late Edna Turcotte Bourgeois, both of Waveland.
Mr. McMillin is the son of Col. and Mrs. Harry C. McMillin of Vicksburg. He is the grandson of the late Clarence Edward and Vera Mae McMillin and the late Waldo and Jewel Davis Storey, all of Jackson.
The bride-elect graduated with honors in 1994 from Pearl High School. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and journalism from the University of Mississippi, where she graduated with honors. She received a Juris Doctor from the Mississippi College School of Law, also with honors.
Miss Cunningham is an attorney with Young Williams P.C.
The prospective groom is a 1987 graduate of St. James High School in Montgomery, Ala. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in political science from Mississippi State University, where he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity.
Mr. McMillin is vice president of physician relations and education at Promise Hospital.
