Boyette R. Scott died Tuesday, June 26, 2012, at River Region Medical Center. She was 74.

Mrs. Scott was preceded in death by her parents, Otha William Ray and Pauline Eldridge Ray.

Survivors include her daughter, Polly Smith of Vicksburg; two sons, Cabray W. Scott Jr. and John E. Scott, both of San Diego; one brother, William Otha Ray Jr. of Prairieville, La.; three sisters, Bonnie R. Perry of Gulfport, Polly Jo Ladner of Biloxi and Nevah Lynn Goodwin of Kennesaw, Ga.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Services will be at noon Friday at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home with the Rev. Matt Buckles officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Friday until the service.
