Margaret Ruth Young Rose died Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at River Region Medical Center. She was 74.

Mrs. Rose attended Redwood High School and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Vicksburg Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Lillian Ruth Hall Young; her grandparents, Armedage Kent Hall and Nancy Elizabeth Westcott Hall; her husband, Edward Rose; a sister, Bobbie Thompson; and a brother, Billy Young.

She is survived by two sons, Herbert Rose of Ashburn, Va., and Gene Rose of Vicksburg; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Vicksburg Church of Christ under the direction of Riles Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
