Mary Agnes Neeley died Monday, July 2, 2012, at Select Specialty Hospital in Jackson. She was 86.

Born in Mantachie, Miss., she was the daughter of the late Odie R’Dell Bates and Hassie Bea Sheffield Bates.

A former resident of the Ozark community in Itawamba County, she had lived in Vicksburg since 1998. She was a member of the Vicksburg Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Neeley was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Junior Neeley; and 10 siblings.

She is survived by a son, Billy Dale Neeley of Vicksburg; one granddaughter; and two great-grandsons.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Riles Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the service. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Ozark Cemetery in the Ozark community near Marietta, Miss. A memorial service will begin at 6 p.m. Friday at the Ozark Church of Christ.
