3 plead guilty in Warren County Circuit Court

In Warren County Circuit Court for the week ending Friday:
• Shaniqua Tain Brown, 28, 734 Locust St., pleaded guilty to uttering a forgery and was sentenced by Circuit Judge M. James Chaney to the Ninth Circuit Drug Court program for a period not to exceed five years, a $1,000 fine, $5,315.23 restitution and $1,403 in costs. Brown was indicted in January.
• Gerardo Mendoza, 25, 2011 Troy King Road, Apt. 71, Farmington, N.M., pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine and was sentenced by Circuit Judge Isadore Patrick to 318 days served followed by three years’ probation, a $2,000 fine and $622.50 in costs. Mendoza was indicted in May.
• Michael James Smith, 26, 65 Smith Road, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana and was sentenced by Patrick to three years in prison followed by four years’ probation, a $3,000 fine and $622.50 in costs. Smith was indicted in May 2010.

In Sharkey County Circuit Court for the week ending Friday:
• Josephine Warren, 31, 738 W. Union St., Greenville, pleaded guilty to nonresidential burglary and was sentenced by Patrick to six years in prison to included extended alcohol and drug treatment followed by five years’ probation, a $1,500 fine, $386 restitution, and $322.50 in costs.

Two people were arraigned after indictment by an Issaquena County grand jury during the June term.
Indictments made public this week are:
• Vicki Worley, 55, 411 Archer Ave., Mayersville, embezzlement. Trial for Worley is set for Feb. 26.
• Ann Robinson, 38, 53 Coleman Road, Mayersville, aggravated assault. Trial for Robinson is set for Feb. 26.
