A special election will be held Tuesday in Port Gibson to choose an alderman to represent Ward 3.
The Claiborne County Fire Station, 412 Market St., next to the courthouse, will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for voting, said a spokesman with the Port Gibson city clerk’s office.
Running as independents are Thelma Robinson and Myrtle Hedrick.
Ex-Ward 3 Alderman Kenneth Davis retired.
