BENTONIA — Lyman E. Tait Sr. died Friday, July 6, 2012, at his home in Bentonia. He was 61.

Mr. Tait was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and an electrical instrument supervisor at Bechtel Corp.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Tait and Gracie Covey.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda Tait of Bentonia; a son, Lyman Tait Jr. of Bentonia; two daughters, Stacey Tait of Bentonia and Danielle Watson of Alabama; a stepson, Justin Figgemeier of Biloxi; and eight grandchildren.

Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church with burial following at Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 5 until 7 p.m. at Stricklin-King Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Gordon E. Muskgrove Jr., Mark Glascoe, Bill Walker, Charlie Creech, Randy Nicholson and W.A. Sims Jr.
