Warren County District 3 Supervisor Charles Selmon was honored for serving as president of the Mississippi Association of Supervisors at the association’s 83rd annual conference in Biloxi.

Selmon also accepted a check for about $1.1 million from the Election Support Fund, recently created by the state Legislature to defray election costs. All of Mississippi’s 82 counties will receive a portion of the money, with Warren County receiving $6,000.

Selmon won a fifth term as supervisor in the November elections.
