Services for Amy J. Crockett will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Calvary M.B. Church, 409 Klein St., with the Rev. Malcolm Goodman officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Crockett died Saturday, July 7, 2012, at her home. She was 65.

Mrs. Crockett was a homemaker and member of Calvary M.B. Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mose L. and Julia R. James; a brother, Henry Carl James; a sister, Ruby Lee James; and her husband, Johnny Claude Crockett.

She is survived by three sons, Mozeke Crockett of Vicksburg, Johnny David Crockett of Tallahassee, Fla., and Johnny Claude Crockett Jr. of Philadelphia, Miss.; eight daughters, Yolanda Shears and Amanda Burden, both of Vicksburg, Joanie Bernice Jones of Jackson and Patricia Taylor, Doris Houston, Johnny Ruth Crockett, Sylvia Miller and Bernita Hampton, all of Philadelphia; three brothers, Charlie Hamp James and Eugene Julius James, both of Vicksburg, and Mozel James of Carson, Calif.; one sister, Emma Sims of Vicksburg; five grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
