The Southern Cultural Heritage Center, 1302 Adams St., has planned a free Southern garden floral design workshop as part of the Hobbs Freeman Art and Nature Celebration from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. July 23. Instructor Geni Fulcher will lead a hands-on class on the basics of mechanics and floral design. Space is limited and reservations are required.
