Miss Wood to marry Mr. Vincent

Michelle Lynn Wood and Cameron Jamison Vincent will be married at 2 p.m. Sept. 1, 2012, at the B’nai B’rith Literary Club. A reception will follow. All friends and relatives are invited to attend. No local invitations are being sent.

Miss Wood is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Neill Wood of Port Gibson. She is the granddaughter of Peggy Wood and the late Jack Wood of Port Gibson and the late Hunter E. George and the late Gettys Mott George of Vicksburg.

Mr. Vincent is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Troy Vincent of Ocean Springs. He is the grandson of Teri Brake and J.C. Brake of Ocean Springs and Gloria Vincent and the late Jack Vincent of Gulfport.

The bride-elect graduated in 2005 from Chamberlain-Hunt Academy in Port Gibson. She received her associate degree in communications from Copiah-Lincoln Community College.

She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations with a minor in broadcasting from Mississippi State University, where she was treasurer of the Public Relations Student Society and a member of the Student Broadcasting Association and Campus Activities Board.

Miss Wood is employed with State Farm Insurance in Jackson.

Mr. Vincent received a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology from Mississippi State University, where he received a 4-year athletic scholarship to run cross country and track.

He is pursuing a Master of Science degree at Jackson State University.

Mr. Vincent is employed with Medifit in Canton.

The couple will reside in Flowood.
