JACKSON — Ann M. Holloway died Sunday, July 22, 2012, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. She was 89.
Mrs. Holloway was reared in West Carroll Parish. She was employed in the 1940s at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Jackson and retired from the Pentagon as a systems analyst. She was a longtime resident of Tracy, Calif. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and First Families of Mississippi and was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Winford Earl and Bertha Albritton Miller; and three sisters, Betty Lynn, Marie Rodden and Mary Del Day.
Survivors include a son, Thomas Allen Sanders of Birmingham, Ala.; three daughters, Jo Anne Forder of Vicksburg, Sherry Benyola of Hayden, Idaho, and Angela Marcus of Jackson; a brother, Wayne Miller of Antioch, Calif.; two sisters, Inez Sanders of Florence and Earline Sudduth of Jackson; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Forest Corner Cemetery in Forest, La., with the Rev. Mat Taylor officiating. Visitation will be from 9 until 9:45 a.m. Thursday at Glenwood Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Allen Sanders, Miles Marcus, Anthony Benyola, Michael Adkins, Thomas Eugene Sanders and James Sanders.
