Pistols stolen from truck, home in city

Two pistols were missing this morning following two thefts in the city.

At 2:42 p.m., a Taurus .45/.410 revolver valued at $650 and a leather holster valued at $40 were reported stolen from a 2004 Toyota truck in the 2700 block of Clay Street, police Capt. Bobby Stewart said.

At 9:29 p.m., a Springfield Armory .45-caliber pistol and three magazines with a combined value of $795 were reported missing from a home in the 100 block of Skyline Drive, Stewart said.
