Madison Waters, 7, sits in a vehicle packed with snacks, crayons and games for patients in the Blair E. Batson Hospital for Children’s Adopt-a-Floor program. Madison, the daughter of Squeekie and Glenn Waters of Vicksburg, decided she wanted to do something charitable this year for her birthday, and set a goal of raising 350 snack items. She ended up with 1,700 snacks, 60 boxes of crayons and 60 activity and coloring books, her mother said.
