Michael Edward McCoy died Saturday, July 28, 2012, at River Region Medical Center. He was 53.

Mr. McCoy was born Sept. 1, 1958, in Newfoundland, Canada. He had lived in a number of countries and states and finished high school in Pensacola, Fla.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Betty McCoy.

He is survived by his wife, Judy McCoy; and two sisters, Kathleen Bina and Roberta Segers.

Services were today at St. Michael Catholic Church with the Rev. P.J. Curley officiating under the direction of W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made in his name to the Mississippi Burn Camp for Children.
