EDWARDS — David Wayne “Bull Dog” Bailey died Friday, Aug. 3, 2012, at his residence in Edwards. He was 68.

Mr. Bailey was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served in Vietnam. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, woodworking and working on cars.

He was preceded in death by his father, John D. Bailey; his mother, Marie Bailey; and a brother, Richard Bailey.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Childers Bailey of Edwards; three sons, Anthony “Tony” Wayne Bailey and David Shane Bailey, both of Vicksburg, and Billy Jay Bailey of Edwards; a daughter, Shannon Leigh Horn of Vicksburg; two stepdaughters, Sonja McGriff of Arkansas and Kim McKnight of McComb; a brother, Truett Bailey of West Monroe, La.; two sisters, Nelda Marie Rutland of Hazlehurst and Freda Bailey Pearson of Jackson; and 10 grandchildren.

Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Kleeb officiating.
