A memorial service for Frank James Williams will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Robbins Funeral Home with the Rev. Elzie O’Neal officiating. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the service.

Mr. Williams died Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012, at G.V. “Sonny” Montgomery VA Medical Center in Jackson. He was 55.

Mr. Williams was a veteran of the U.S. Army and also served in the U.S. Reserve 412th Engineer Command. He worked for several years at the VA Medical Center and was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeanetta J. Williams and the Rev. James A. Williams.

Survivors include his daughter, Jeanetta N. Williams of Jackson; a son, Frank Williams Jr. of Jackson; two sisters, Bobbie J. Williams of Vicksburg and Jereline Williams of Baton Rouge; five grandchildren; and other relatives and friends, including Elizabeth Williams of Vicksburg.
