RENOVA — Esther Hayes Smith died Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012 at her residence. She was 65.

Mrs. Smith was a resident of Cleveland, Miss. and a member of Calvary M.B. Church in Renova.

She is survived by her husband, Elbert Smith of Cleveland; two sons, Craig M. Smith of Horn Lake and Xaiver Smith of Gadsen, Ala.; a daughter, Dawn A. Murray of Montgomery, Ala., two brothers, Wilbert T. Hayes Jr. and Freddie Ford, both of Vicksburg; two sisters, Wilma Wade of Clarksdale and Patricia Gardner of Edwards; and four grandchildren.

Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Calbary M.B. Church in Renova with the Rev. Johnnie Cummings officiating. Byas Funeral Home of Cleveland has charge of arrangements. Visitation will be from 4 to 5 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
