A storm cell accompanying a cold front dumped about 0.96 inch of rain, downed trees and damaged roofs on two buildings in north Warren County Thursday night, emergency management director John Elfer said.
He said the cell crossed the county between 7:45 and 10 p.m. Winds generated by the cell blew the roof off the porch of a mobile home on Sea Island Drive and damaged the roof on a building at Ok Cars on U.S. 61 North. Trees were blown down on Vindicator Lane, Sherman Avenue and Freetown, Culkin and Oak Ridge roads. All the trees were removed by 4 this morning, Elfer said.
The cell produced no tornados, Elfer said.
