Jim F. Ladner died Friday, Aug. 10, 2012, at River Region Medical Center. He was 83.

Born in Arvada, Colo., he was the son of the late John Franklin Ladner and Manghild Josephine Soderburg Ladner. He was a former resident of Jackson and had been a resident of Vicksburg since 1999. He was a retired nurse and a member of Southside Baptist Church.

He is survived by his pastor and friend, Greg Clemts.

A celebration of life will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Southside Baptist Church with the Rev. Greg Clemts officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the service.
