The Ouachita River Art Gallery, 308 Trenton St., in Monroe, will feature Mer Rouge native Brenda Clark McDaniel in September.

“For The Love Of Cypress” will include oil, acrylic, pastel and watercolor paintings depicting McDaniel’s interpretation of Louisiana’s cypress trees, found mostly in her own backyard.
