SEBRING, Fla. — Carolyn S. Madison died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012, in Sebring, Fla. She was 75.

She was born Jan. 7, 1937, in Vicksburg to Robert Quin and Edith Donnelli Smith. She was a former resident of Meridian and had lived in Sebring since 1978. She was a service representative for the Social Security Administration, and she enjoyed working in the garden.

She is survived by three daughters, Lynn Madison, Edie Katzenmeyer and Diane Madison, all of Sebring; a son, Chip Madison of New Bern, N.C.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held Saturday at Stephenson-Nelson Chapel in Sebring with Pastor Ron Norton officiating.
