The Vicksburg Warren Humane Society thanks the staff, teachers and students at Bovina Elementary School. Grades kindergarten through sixth, led by teacher’s assistant Beth Harbin, collected supplies for unwanted pets at the shelter in September. Bovina Elementary presented their hard work to us Thursday.

They presented to us 86 bags of food and supplies, valued at about $700, 10 bales of hay and $500 cash. We truly appreciate the teachers and staff for teaching our youth the responsibility and commitment it takes to be a responsible pet owner.
