• Mississippi College wide receiver Les Lemons (Vicksburg High) had 174 all-purpose yards in a 75-42 loss to Sul Ross State. Lemons caught six passes for 57 yards, rushed once for 12 yards, returned three kickoffs for 70 yards, and was 1-of-1 passing for 35 yards.

• Mississippi College defensive back Jordan Currie (Central Hinds) assisted on one tackle in the loss to Sul Ross State.

• Mississippi State kicker Devon Bell (Warren Central) went 2-for-2 on field goals, hitting from 20 and 37 yards, in a 27-14 win over Kentucky. Bell also went 3-for-3 on PATs and kicked off five times.

• Tarleton State wide receiver Cordell Valentine (Warren Central) caught five passes for 53 yards, including a 4-yard touchdown, in a 38-35 loss to Delta State.
