A Warren County woman has been missing since Thursday, and deputies are seeking information on her whereabouts.

Shanell Stowers, 30, 219 Lealand Drive, was reported missing Friday by family members after last being heard from Thursday, Sheriff Martin Pace said.

Stowers missed an appointment to pick up her child from a relative’s house for a doctor’s appointment at 8 a.m. Thursday, Pace said. Another relative took the child to the doctor and saw Stowers’ green 2001 Saturn abandoned on Old Jackson Road near the Vicksburg city limits, he said. The keys were still in the vehicle, he said.

Stowers’ home is off Lee Road in the southern part of the county. Old Jackson Road is in the northern part.

“We have searched the vehicle and the area where the vehicle was located and her residence and found no evidence of foul play,” Pace said.

Stowers is 5-foot-4 and weighs 180 pounds.
