Fire destroyed a rental home on Chickasaw Lane early this morning, but no one was at home when it burned, Warren County Fire Coordinator Jerry Briggs said.

No injuries were reported.

At 2:47 a.m. today, neighbors reported that a house at 110 Chickasaw Lane was engulfed in flames, he said. The home was a total loss.

“It had been burning for a while before the neighbors saw it,” he said.

The house is owned by Mark Bridges, no address available, but the occupant was unknown this morning, Briggs said.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
