MHSAA Region 4-1A: Hartfield Academy at Hinds AHS, Friday at 7 p.m.

Records: Hartfield Academy (1-5, 0-5 Region 4-1A); Hinds AHS (3-4, 1-4)

Hinds AHS: A late fumble deep in Salem territory led to a 15-8 loss for Hinds last week. It was the latest in a string of bad breaks. Hinds’ four region losses have been by a total of 27 points, and all have been decided late in the fourth quarter.

Hartfield Academy: The Hawks’ dismal 2012 season continued last week with a 40-3 rout at the hands of Bogue Chitto. Hartfield scored 30 points in a season-opening win over Sacred Heart, and has scored 24 in the five games since then.
