Air Force Airman Jasinda C. McTear has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. The eight-week program included training in military discipline, core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles.

She also earned four credits toward an Associate in Applied Science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

She is a 2011 graduate of Tensas High School in St. Joseph. She is the daughter of Lucinda and John McTear of Newellton.
