When Vicksburg High School’s football season was ended in penalties Tuesday, the team was not the only group affected.
About 50 members of the VHS Pride band, cheerleading squad and the Gator Girls dance team — along with senior members of the football squad — would have been recognized with their parents on the field at halftime during the last home game of the year.
