A woman who was wanted as a fugitive from Warren County turned herself in Tuesday at the sheriff’s office, Sheriff Martin Pace said.
He said Cynthia Davidson, 35, 4617 U.S. 90 East, DeFuniak Springs, Fla., is charged with embezzlement in the theft of an undetermined amount of money between 2009 and 2011 from Emergency Cash, 1713 Clay St. She was released on $2,500 bond, jail records show.
Pace said Davidson was indicted on the charge in January and was living in Florida at the time of the indictment. He said she called sheriff’s detective Todd Dykes Monday, saying she wanted to turn herself in and came to the sheriff’s department with her attorney Tuesday afternoon.
